Reasonable Adjustments and Access Arrangements

Reasonable adjustments
Reasonable adjustments can be made for candidates taking exams to alleviate or remove the effect of a disability which places candidates at a substantial disadvantage. Reasonable adjustments enable them to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and understanding to the levels of attainment required by the specification for that unit.

Examples include use of a computer to type part/all an exam, additional time for Dyslexic candidates, etc.

Special access requirements

Special access requirements can be made for candidates taking exams in a centre or building under Law Training Centre’s direct control to alleviate or remove the effect of a disability which hinders candidates from accessing the physical environment for exams. This enables them to sit their exam without any disadvantages or disruptions.

Examples of this could be assistance with entering and exiting the building during an emergency, assistance with heavy doors, or level access to buildings. This could also include designating a space for wheelchairs or mobility scooters, and easy access to toilet facilities.

Please provide details in the field below to explain the reasons for your adjustments or special access request. Our Student Services Team may request supporting evidence when you submit this enrolment form.
